Fox Blocks Adds Staff

Well-known Industry Execs to Lead Roll-out of Distributor Network.

            Fox Blocks, a division of Omaha-based Airlite Plastics Co., is now building a distributor network. Long known for its “factory-direct” pricing, the company now offers field support and training.  To support this effort, the company has announced the hiring of several well-known industry executives.   
            Mike Kennaw has been hired as Vice President of Sales, North America.  Kennaw joins Airlite Plastics with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He spent 10 years building the ICF market with Arxx/Blue Maxx, and has extensive experience building distributor networks for stay-in-place forming systems.  He has also worked as a concrete/masonry special inspector in the City of Los Angeles, marketing fiber cement roofing products, and working as the sales manager for a Marvin Window wholesale distributor. Kennaw will be based in the Pacific Northwest, where he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Linda and three grown children.  He also coaches high school football.
            Frank Bentley is Director of Business Development for Formtech.  Bentley was the president/owner of Formtech, a knockdown-style  ICF, prior to its acquisition by Airlite Plastics. Bentley brings twelve years of ICF industry knowledge and experience operating throughout North America, and has special expertise in the Caribbean and international markets.
            Randy Daniels has been hired as Regional Sales Manager, West Coast for Fox Blocks.  Daniels has 25 years of concrete construction history, with the last 12 dedicated to ICF education, promotion, project specification, and distribution development. He is an acknowledged industry leader and has extensive experience in commercial/institutional/industrial ICF construction.  Over the past decade, Daniels has overseen the development of more than 2.8 million sq. ft. of ICF construction projects throughout the Western United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and Mexico. He is an expert in green building, and is well versed in the new LEED version 3.0 for new construction.
            Ron Funk is now Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada.  Funk brings to Fox Blocks over 30 years of construction experience including 10 years in the ICF industry as a regional sales manager. He has been instrumental in promoting and growing the ICF industry in Western Canada.  Ron is an excellent communicator and is as comfortable presenting in the board room as he is training on the job site.
            Mike Schwab is Regional Sales Manager for the Rocky Mountain region.  Schwab is the former owner and president of Commercial Block, an ICF company that specializing in building theaters and other entertainment venues.  He has completed 22 movie theater projects across North America, personally supervising the ICF construction phases.
            Jason Brown has the title of Regional Sales Manager, Midwest.  Jason has 20 years of construction-related experience, including 15 years specifically with ICF’s.  He has spent the past 5 years in a similar position with another ICF company. 
            Joe McCosby is Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast U.S.  McCosby has 23 years of ICF experience in all areas of the industry, from research/development through sales/marketing. McCosby also has a strong background in technical support and training.

            Glen Klassen is Fox Blocks’ new technical manager. Klassen has been a licensed carpenter for 35 years and has spent the past 15 years developing and delivering ICF training throughout North America. Glen has also successfully delivered on-site support to over 500 residential and 100 commercial job sites.
            Steve Aerts provides inside sales support.  Steve has many years of industrial sales experience and advertising sales in direct response media.  Steve will be responsible for supporting the entire sales staff as needed.
            Fox Blocks has also added additional manufacturing locations in Post Falls, Idaho and Jerome, Idaho to its network of plant locations.  Additional plants are located at the company’s Omaha, Neb. headquarters, as well as in Orlando, Fla., and Northbridge, Mass.  The company plans to add additional capacity in California as well.
